Being India’s favorite quiz company we, at Greycells have been collaborating with NTPC Ltd. over the past 15 years in hosting all big-ticket quiz events for the largest power company of India.

Greycells, Quiz company curates Medha Pratiyogita in four separate tracks.  An inter-school quiz contest in three age categories along with the employee track. This is in addition to the Power Quiz which is a technical quiz focused on the Power sector.

However, the most sought-after event is Electron Quiz. Arguably India’s most recognized inter-college Quiz.

The 2024-2025 edition of Electron Quiz was hosted to coincide with the Golden jubilee celebration of NTPC Ltd. Hence the stakes were higher than ever with the addition of newer locations.

The student community participated in large numbers with thousands of management and Engineering students participating first in the city round at Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Lucknow, Raipur, Patna Ranchi, Kolkata and Delhi (Noida).

The next pit-stop was the National stage with top 2 teams from each city cluster (total 18 teams) qualifying for the national semi-finals.

The biggest stage of them all was the national final which witnessed a clash of the best Business quiz teams of the country.

The team from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta comprising Piyush Kedia and Amartya Saha showcased exceptional skills to emerge as the national champions of the quiz contest.

The dynamic duo of Shashank Tyagi and Ankita Shandilya from the Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi secured a well-deserved Runner-up spot leaving behind the final podium place to Komal Vasudeva and Aarya Arun another team from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Ace Quizmaster Gautam Bose hosted the quiz events which was packaged in 10 episodes for ET Now.

All episodes were broadcast on the channel on Sunday prime time through March- April 2025.

Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF for short) in collaboration with Greycells organizes Banking Chanakya Quiz, a unique quizzing platform which caters exclusively to Bankers.

The best quiz masters in India from Greycells has been presenting this Corporate quiz since its inception in 2017.

The 2024 edition of Chanakya Quiz was a roaring success. The most ambitious and successful edition yet in its scope and scale the quiz contest witnessed its largest participation yet.

Teams Greycells customized an online quiz platform for the pan-India preliminary rounds. This was followed by the physically hosted Zonal rounds at four locations, culminating in the National finals at Mumbai.

The stage was set at IIBF, head office in Mumbai on 18th January to welcome the top four qualifying teams at the National final.

It was destined to be clash of the best minds from the industry. The line-up included the defending champions, a previous national champion, a national finalist and a veteran quiz team.

In line with the occasion the challenge was upped couple of notches by Quizmaster Gautam Bose with newer rounds and concepts which necessitated the teams to bring out their ace game.

The SBI duo (the defending champions) had a slow start but quickly caught up with the RBI team – who are Quiz veterans having tasted the pinnacle of success in previous editions.

Central Bank of India also had a sluggish first half but recovered well in the fag end. However, the team from Canara Bank was not in their usual elements and faced one calamity after another.

The contest went right down to the wire with the last question deciding the podium finish.

The defending champions were able to defend their turf in a tight finish and lift the trophy for the second time consecutively leaving the RBI team with a worthy runner-up spot.

The winning team added 1 Lakh Rs to their kitty along with a shimmering trophy.

Second placed team won 75,000 Rs while the 3rd and 4th placed teams won 25,000 Rs.

The final standings:

National Champions- Mukesh Sharma and Himansh Katoch from State Bank of India

National Runner-up – Ramees Saleem, FRM and Amit Vishwakarma from Reserve Bank of India

Third: Prashant Prasoon and Abhijit Sinha from Central Bank of India

Fourth: Riyas Rehman and MAHESH M G from Canara Bank

Perhaps we, at Greycells best utilize quiz events as an effective tool for meaningful employee engagement. To that end we have been driving various flagship quiz programs for a variety of blue-chip corporates.

 

SBI Life Insurance has been collaborating with Greycells, India’s best quiz company for their flagship corporate Quiz -the Knowledge Premiere League (KPL for short)

 

The national finale of KPL -Season 4 hosted sometime back was a spectacle no less – which brought out the best in all stake holders.

Hosted at the impressive grand ballroom of Hotel Sahara Star Mumbai, everything looked pitch perfect.

 

The grand stage to the event management. The use of technology to unveil the Trophy to the colour coordinated dress of the four qualifying teams everything was meticulously planned and executed to rival any big filmy award show.

The event began with an innovative musical performance.

It was followed by the Quiz contest hosted by Gautam Bose.

 

The four qualifying teams looked a million bucks in their custom made, colour coordinated dress.

The teams were welcomed on stage with the deafening beat of the dhol and trumpets- performed by local artists.

 

There was dhol, there were trumpets and there was fanfare- a lot of it.

 

Delhi capitals, The Desert Scholars Jaipur, Natraj Ke Nakshatra and CPC Ke Sitare were the four best teams this year fighting for the championship title.

 

Another milestone in season 4 was the use of technology which brought together thousands of SBIL employees to play along in real time simultaneously with the live audience who were physically present at the venue.

 

The audience were at their boisterous best, cheering for their favourite team.

All the four teams rose to the occasion with great answers.

However, Delhi Capital looked like a team possessed from the start. They pulled ahead easily from the competition to claim the championship title.

Natraj Ke Nakshatra ended at the runners-up spot.

The drama was not over though.

Desert Scholars and CPC were tied for the third spot. An inspiring answer from the tie-breaker round cemented the third place for the Desert scholars’ team.

Greycells quiz company and event management loves to engage young school students. We host many inter school quiz contests across the world.

However, for the last 10 years our association with Inspiria Knowledge Campus Siliguri has grown stronger.

InsipriaQ had a humble beginning 11 years back but has since emerged as the pre-eminent inter-school quiz contest for Schools of Bengal, Sikkim and beyond.

 

The 2024 edition travelled to 112 Schools for the preliminary round which was hosted over the course of past few months.

 

The semi-finalist teams were invited to the lush green Insipria campus to showcase their skills. Top 6 teams then clashed for a podium finish. This time “Summer Olympics” was the chosen theme of InspiriaQ.

As always, the quiz contest was hosted by Gautam Bose, famous quiz master in India

 

With a dollop of excitement the finale, witnessed fantastic quizzing peppered with some fun and games to keep the huge audience in high spirits.

🥇 Winner: Railway Higher Secondary School, Alipurduar

🥈 Runner-Up: Birla Divya Jyoti School, Siliguri

State Bank of India Wizards Quiz is a labour of love curated with utmost care by Greycells.

 

We’ve had the distinct pleasure in conceptualizing Wizards as a wholesome engagement activity for employees of State Bank of India who participate in this engrossing contest alongside their family members.

 

Wizards was launched in a phygital mode in the backdrop of COVID pandemic – to foster positivity and wellness during those challenging times.

 

Five years down the line this corporate quiz contest – has emerged as an attractive activity in the entire sector.

 

The 2024 edition of the Quiz contest started with Team Greycells creating an online platform for the preliminary round. SBI employees along with their family members by the thousands participated in the initial round.

 

Then followed the whirlwind physical events spread across 16 cities – covering almost all geographies.

 

Gautam Bose, on behalf of Greycells hosted all the 16 circle level Quiz events, two national semi-finals at State bank institute of leadership, Kolkata.

 

The culmination took place in a glittering ceremony curated by Team Greycells at the SBI Corporate office, Mumbai in the presence of SBI, Chairman Sh. C.S. Setty along with the Managing Directors, DMDs and other members of the higher management.

Runners-up: Riza Mohamed and Mehreen Riza (Team Hyderabad)

In continuation of our long-standing collaboration with The Hindu Newspaper in presenting the Pan-India inter-college Quiz contests on behalf of Institute of Public Enterprise we, set foot at Guwahati sometime back for the latest edition of The Hindu College Quiz.

 

More than 70 teams from various leading colleges of Guwahati participated in the quiz event.

 

The top 6 teams who qualified for the on-stage finale were from:

Guwahati Medical College, Cotton University, Guwahati, (2 teams) Girijananda Chowdhury University, (2 teams) Assam Engineering College, (A.E.C)

 

Renowned Quizmaster in India, Gautam Bose CEO Greycells was the quizmaster of the event.

 

Assam has steadily become a force multiplier in the quizzing arena and holds a special place due to the sheer quality of participants.

 

The duo from Guwahati Medical College registered a thumping victory with a wide margin over the next two podium finishers.

The final standing was:

 

Winner: Syan Majumdar and Dishanta Patowary from Guwahati Medical College

 

Runner- up: Dipom Saha and Mohixit Goswami from Cotton University

 

2nd Runner-up: Nikhil Kumar Nayak and Abhay Sharma from Girijananda Chowdhury University.

Greycells is thrilled to announce the successfully completion of the 5th edition of The Times Inter School Quiz for Times of India, in association with Woxsen University. Greycells which comprises the best quizmasters in India were the exclusive Quiz partners and event mangers.

 

This extensive inter-school quiz contest was spread over one month wherein our exceptional quiz masters travelled to top 72 schools of Hyderabad and its vicinity to host the preliminary round. The intra-school round had thousands of students participating from grades 8 to 12.

It was followed by the inter-School Semi-Finals and Finale which was hosted on the 18th of January at the gargantuan SNC Convention, Hyderabad.

 

Greycells powered the entire event – starting with the physical events at 72 Schools to the stage set-up, Putting up the exhibition stalls of all sponsors and the venue decor for the Grand finals.

 

Famous quizmaster of India, Gautam Bose hosted the semi-finals with 142 qualified teams in a written format from which top 6 teams vied for the on-stage finals.

 

The top three teams who won big were:

 

Winners: Animesh Panigrahi, Suthej Reddy Akepati and Arnav Gupta from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Jubilee Hills

They won 1 Lakh Rs in prize money along with trophies and certificates

 

Runners-up: VY Surya, KNVL Prakash and K Sowmya from Cal Public School

The runners-up won 50 thousand Rs along with Trophies and certificates

 

Third: Sohum Shukla, Dhiraj Kumar Patel and Akash Menon from Army Public School (APS) Bolarum

The third placed team won 25 thousand Rs along with trophies and certificates

Quiz company in India, Greycells collaborated for a ten-event corporate quiz event for employees of Standard Chartered India covering a vast geography.

 

Gautam Bose, the famous quiz master in India reached the Gurgaon office of SCB for an engaging Quiz contest sometime back.

 

This gigantic Knowledge sharing platform provides an opportunity to all employees of the Bank to participate in the Quiz

 

We had previously covered the cities of Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai engaging thousands of enthusiastic knowledge seekers and curious onlookers.
